KOKESHI from the name Omoi ( Thoughts ) the meaning is loving thoughts. The doll is made of painted and engraved wood with a beautiful kimono decorated with sprigs with flower buds. Each kokeshi is a unique piece handmade by a Japanese craftsman and this one was made by the artist Masao Fujikawa.
