How to wear the yukata
the yukata, as for the kimono, unlike that for women, must have the right length for one's height. The obi is also used for men, which is called kaku obi , which for the yukata must be made of cotton (silk for the kimono), or the heko obi which is tied at a low waist. For dressing usually only one koshihimo is needed. Men's geta are worn on the feet , optionally accompanied by the kinchaku bag for men.
Then there is the type of yukata that uses a dressing gown, and is different from the classic yukata. Both men and women take it to traditional Japanese hotels (ryokan) or hot springs (onsen). After entering the hotel, people often change into the yukata provided by the ryokan. (Source Wikipedia)
