Yukata Woman
The correct way to wear a yukata is not necessarily obvious. As in the case of the kimono, the left side of the garment is superimposed on the right side (the opposite should be avoided, since only at funerals the right is superimposed on the left) and the obi is used, a special belt that is tied at the waist to close the yukata. For the yukata, the obi called the hanhaba obi is used , which can often also be found with the bow knot already done. Obi for kimono and yukata with the knot already tied are called tsukuri obi. The yukata, as well as the kimono, for women, is never the same height as the person who is going to wear it, the right length should be about 10 cm more than one's height or at most 10 cm less: it is in fact folded at the waist, forming the ohashori . It is also worn with geta , traditional wooden sandals and often accompanied by the kinchaku handbag . (Source Wikipedia)
